About us
SGJ Electronic has been a supplier to the defence industry for many decades. In close collaborations with our customers, we have developed, verified, and produced new products.
Our overall philosophy is long-term thinking, availability, and control over all parts of the product chain.
We have always made sure to have few, but qualified and stable subcontractors who contribute to our expertise. When a new detail in a certain area is designed, for example an injection-molded part, our subcontractor is involved at an early stage to achieve producibility, compliance with specifications, etc. for the individual detail.
With our holistic philosophy, we have excellent opportunities to create variants of our products, such as alternative mounting, wavelengths, cable types, etc. We can also develop new products.
We naturally strive to deliver correctly and without errors. But if a complaint still arises, it always receives its own project number and highest priority with analysis of cause and error-correcting measures, which the customer is informed about.
R&D
We have always had our own control from development – often together with the customer and specification – to our own production. Some parts are made by selected subcontractors in different disciplines, such as injection molding, machining, circuit board manufacturing, and sheet metal work. This gives us access to specific expertise in these areas, and our collaborations have been built up over several decades.
We of course follow modern requirements with traceability, modern machine parks such as various 3D printers, future availability, sustainability and more.
In ongoing production, we constantly monitor the availability of incoming components. If an availability problem arises, we inform our customers and provide suggestions for compatible solutions. We apply this mindset also when designing a new product and selecting which components to use.
